Whilst researching for my next trip to Kerala, I came across the photojournalist Victor George (April 10, 1955–July 9, 2001) from Kerala, India who died in 2001 while taking pictures of landslides in Kerala.
His passion was capturing the ‘the rains’ and you can see his work by following the link….

The S.U.P/S.A.R.C.W residency program- was designed as a cutting edge experiential insight, to communicate the value of visual language and collaboration through arts practice in international communities.
For a period of five months, SUP will support two female artists at the Sultana Abdhulah Rowther College for Women, in the Muslim community of Melapanangattangudi in Tamil Nadu, India. Artists will engage in the research of their art practice to develop a body of new work for exhibition, both in India and the UK. Artists are also responsible for supervising arts educational workshops for the students at the college within the provincial community.
